Some flowers of Juneau Alaska

The flowers are in full bloom here, in yards, on the roadside, along trails. Here is an iris.

Orange hawkweed - this is one of those BAD invasive weeds the forest service warns is taking over, edging out our native plants here. I see it everywhere, I think it is here to stay. Personally, I think its kind of pretty. Posted by Picasa
